A Tree Sculpture for the Entryway

This sculpture was for a house with a large and open entryway. Standing at 10ft, this sculpture brings beautiful wood tones and hand carved leaves mimicking the leaves of a zebrawood tree.

A Children’s Bed

The client on this project wanted a sturdy children’s bed so they could rest in the bed and spend time with their young ones. I was happy to create a sturdy, knock down frame that could hold up to the most rambunctious child.

The client on this project was interested in a variety of styles, but predominantly mission furniture with modern twist. I designed this piece to be sleek with tapered legs so it would not look or feel as bulky as typical mission furniture can.

A Shoji Stool

This Stool, inspired by Japanese Torii Gates, is handmade in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is made using traditional mortice and tenon joinery. It is perfect for reaching tall upper shelves or as an aide to kids to reach the bathroom counter.

This “Mesh Wood Table” was the first practical application of the accordion style. It is an intriguing two person table with a set of matching benches

Kotatsu Coffee Table

This truly unique table uses unorthodox legs that are split in two parts and cut to shape to be flared at the top. This piece takes inspiration from Japanese styles and is intended to be used as a Kotatsu; a heated table with a removable top. A blanked it draped over which seals in the warmth on cold winter days.
